Biography

I am an abstract artist living in Ponteland, Newcastle upon Tyne. My love of painting started when I was a child and I attended John Hornby Oil Paining Classes which resulted in my work being displayed in the Catherine Cookson Museum in South Shields.
 
After leaving school I secured a place on the Art and Design Foundation Course which covered all the different aspects of art.  Upon leaving college I was employed in marketing but continued my painting as a hobby.
 
After many years of working in marketing and bringing up three children I am now in a position to concentrate on my painting and realise the love and passion I have had since childhood is still with me today.
